High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates and quantifies the components of a sample. 99% indicates that 99% of the material corresponds to the target peptide, a standard benchmark for reference materials.

Lyophilization (freeze-drying) is the most stable way to preserve a peptide: it removes water and extends shelf life. It is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before laboratory use.

Slowly add bacteriostatic water down the wall of the vial, without shaking harshly, until the powder dissolves. Our reconstitution calculator helps you estimate the concentration and volume per dose in each vial.

The lyophilized vial is best stored at −20 °C; once reconstituted, refrigerated (2–8 °C) and protected from light. Every shipment includes a guide with storage recommendations.
